By signing this agreement, I acknowledge that I am aware of the potential risks associated with participating in this event, and assume full responsibility for any consequences that may arise from my actions during the event. I understand that failure to abide by these rules and regulations may result in my team's forfeiture from the overall play and participation. Therefore, I commit to ensuring the safety of all participants and conducting myself in a responsible and respectful manner at all times during the event.

Rules & Regulations

Team Requirements & Roster:

4v4 Coed — at least 1 female on the court at all times; max 6 players (4 players + 2 subs)
Only rostered players allowed to play
No player additions mid-tournament unless approved by the tournament for exceptional cases (e.g. injury)
Teams not fielding full squad may play with consent of opposing captain and/or tournament staff

Game Start & Scoring:

Coin flip determines initial serve; teams alternate serve every game
Matches played for 15 minutes each, winner is the leading team at time end
All teams must check-in 15 minutes before scheduled match or forfeit the game

Serving & Rotation:

Players do not need to rotate positions but must rotate service
Serves hitting the net and landing in play are "live"
Serves cannot be blocked or spiked
Acceptable serve returns: bump pass, clasped hands, closed fist

Playing the Ball:

Each team allowed 3 successive contacts
Block contacts do not count towards the 3-contact limit
Held balls or improper hand sets (lifts, carries) are violations
Players cannot attack the ball over the opponent's side

Blocking:

Multiple contacts during a single blocking attempt are legal
Blockers may participate in the next play as the first contact
Blocking a serve is prohibited
No net contact unless driven by the ball or opponent; simultaneous net contact is a replay

Forfeits:

5-minute grace period after game time to field full team

Standings & Communication:

Standings updated after each match

Waivers & Sportsmanship:

All participants must sign the facility waiver to play
Poor sportsmanship may result in suspension or ejection

Miscellaneous:

No alcohol on premises
Spectators must purchase a day pass and sign a waiver (15+ only)
